(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert tied a league record when he became just the third player in NBA history to win four Defensive Player of the Year awards yesterday.

His fourth win matches the total for Hall of Fame centers Ben Wallace and Dikembe Mutombo. Gobert led the voting with 72 first-place votes. Gobert and the Wolves look to take a 3-0 advantage in the Western Conference Semifinals when they host Denver on Friday.
