Kelly Armstrong on workforce: we have to figure out how to recruit people to North Dakota

(Fargo, ND) --

North Dakota Represenative and gubernatorial candidate Kelly Armstrong is talking about the approach he would use if elected, to attracting and maintaining a viable workforce.

"You need three things to get a community to grow, cops, teachers, nurses, and we have to figure out a way in which we can recruit people who have never thought about North Dakota as a place to come," said Armstrong.

Armstrong also said the state's colleges and universities need to remain focused on providing education for jobs that match North Dakota's needs.

The representative made the comments while appearing on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
